POSSESSIVE and DEMONSTRATIVE PRONOUNS

Default stress is found in:

наш, наша, наше, наши and in all cases of this word

ваш, ваша, ваше, ваши and in all cases of this word

The entire form of the 3^rd person possessive pronouns (which are not declined) is the stem: его, её, их

The stem of the demonstrative pronoun этот is эт-, so it has default stress in all its forms

этот, эта, это, эти etc

Multisyllabic pronouns whose stem ends in an й are exceptions to default:

мой, моя, моё, мои etc. (morphologically мой+а, мой+о, мой+ы etc.)

твой, твоя, твоё, твои etc.

свой, своя, своё, свои etc.

Note also that these exceptions have final stress when inflected:

моего, мою, моему¹, моих, моей, моим, моими

as do stems that have no vowel:

тот, та, то, те, but того, тому, теми

весь, вся, всё, все, but всего, всему, всеми
